Tbh, had a such wonderful stay for one night. It had an incredible location - minutes from a grand showpiece square. Besides, we were just off St Marc's square, San Marco & Bridge of Sighs, and so many restaurants.

The location was good.
Reception were rude. Didn't have our booking despite us having evidence of it. Tried to charge us more than what we booked on line. Wifi didn't work in room like advertised.

It was brief.
The hotel was overpriced what I actually received in the way of service. The shower stall is too small and the drain in the shower drained very slow. The sea water rising in the Square was a big inconvenience, I had to wade through the water to get to the ferry to my cruise ship. Not a nice experience.

We loved the room and were upgraded to a "Canal View" room without asking. A/C worked very well. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. Perfect location. Very friendly staff. Accomodated our small dog with no problems.
Breakfast had its sketchy aspects - eggs were not appetizing (undercooked and probably from powder), coffee and juices were of not the best quality. TV was tiny with very few channels (but who comes to Venice to watch TV?)

If you're looking for a charming base in the heart of Venice, this hotel is a solid choice. The location is amazing, just minutes from St Mark's Square. My room was spacious and modern, and the breakfast offered a good variety. Be cautious of mosquitoes if you decide to enjoy a glass of wine by the window.

I enjoyed my stay here, especially the spacious room that was a nice escape from the city's chaos and the cozy breakfast nook where I started my mornings right.
